Privacy, kept simple.

This Privacy Policy describes how LU YU AN (“we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information in the PartMemo mobile application (“PartMemo” or the “App”).

1. Information you add

You may choose to enter information such as device names, brands, model numbers, part numbers, specifications, notes, replacement dates, quantities, purchase links, and photos. This information is used to provide the App’s core features, including searching, organizing, and showing replacement details.

Saved PartMemo records and photos are stored locally on your device using the App’s on-device storage. We do not receive this content unless you choose to share it through a feature provided by iOS or another app.

2. Notifications

If you enable replacement reminders, PartMemo asks iOS for notification permission and schedules local notifications on your device. Reminder content is generated by the App and is not sent to a PartMemo server. You can turn reminders off in PartMemo or manage notification permission in iOS Settings.

3. Purchases and Apple services

PartMemo Premium is purchased through Apple’s App Store. Apple processes payment and provides transaction and entitlement information to the App so it can unlock or restore Premium access. Apple’s handling of information is governed by Apple’s own terms and privacy policy.

We do not receive your full payment card number through PartMemo. For details about Apple’s processing, please review Apple’s Privacy Policy.

4. Links to other services

PartMemo may let you save or open a purchase URL. Opening a link takes you to a third-party website or service. That service may collect information under its own privacy policy; PartMemo does not control those practices.

5. Information we do not currently collect

PartMemo does not currently include a PartMemo account, advertising SDK, analytics SDK, or server-side sync for your saved content. If those practices change, this Policy will be updated before or when the change takes effect, as required by applicable law.

6. Your choices and rights

• You can edit or delete saved content from within the App.
• You can disable notifications in PartMemo or iOS Settings.
• You can delete the App and its local data from your device, subject to any device backup retained by you or your backup provider.
• Depending on where you live, you may have additional privacy rights. Contact us using the information below to make a request.

7. Children’s privacy

PartMemo is not directed to children under the age at which consent is required under applicable law. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through a PartMemo account or service.

8. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page indicates when the current version took effect. Continued use of the App after an update means the updated Policy applies to your use of the App.

PartMemo · Terms of Service

The terms for using PartMemo.

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) form an agreement between you and LU YU AN for your use of the PartMemo mobile application.

1. Acceptance of these Terms

By downloading, accessing, or using PartMemo, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App. If you use PartMemo on behalf of another person or organization, you represent that you are authorized to accept these Terms for them.

2. Using the App

PartMemo provides tools for recording and finding information about household devices and replacement parts. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter and for deciding whether a part is compatible with a product.

You agree not to misuse the App, interfere with its operation, attempt to access systems or data that are not intended for you, reverse engineer it except where applicable law permits, or use it in a way that violates law or the rights of others.

3. PartMemo Premium

PartMemo may offer an auto-renewing monthly subscription that unlocks additional features, such as unlimited saved parts. The current price and any applicable taxes are shown by Apple before you confirm a purchase.

• Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase.
• Your subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current subscription period.
• Your Apple Account may be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the current period ends.
• You can manage or cancel the subscription in your Apple Account subscription settings. Deleting PartMemo does not by itself cancel a subscription.
• If a purchase is eligible for restoration, use “Restore Purchase” in PartMemo while signed in to the relevant Apple Account.

Subscription terms, refunds, and billing are also subject to Apple’s applicable terms and policies. If the App offers a different purchase option in the future, the terms shown at the time of purchase will apply to that option.

4. Your content

You retain ownership of the content you enter into PartMemo. You grant us only the limited rights needed to provide the App’s features. Because PartMemo is designed for on-device storage, you are responsible for maintaining any backup you want to keep.

You must not enter content that is unlawful, infringes another person’s rights, or contains sensitive information you do not have permission to store.

5. Intellectual property

PartMemo, including its software, design, branding, and related materials, is owned by or licensed to LU YU AN and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms give you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App on Apple devices that you own or control, subject to these Terms.

6. Disclaimers

PartMemo is provided for personal organization and reference. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the App is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the App will always be available, error-free, secure, or compatible with every product or part.

Always follow the manufacturer’s instructions and applicable safety guidance. Verify compatibility, installation requirements, and replacement intervals before using a part. PartMemo is not a substitute for a qualified professional.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LU YU AN will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of the App. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited.

8. Termination

You may stop using PartMemo at any time. We may suspend or discontinue the App, or your access to it, if reasonably necessary to protect the App, users, or our rights, or if you materially breach these Terms. Any terms that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and change the “Last updated” date. Your continued use of PartMemo after the updated Terms take effect means you accept the changes.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Taiwan, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, unless applicable law requires otherwise. Any dispute will be handled by the courts located in Taiwan, unless applicable law gives you the right to bring it elsewhere.
