Getting started
PartMemo is built for the details you want to find again when it is time to buy or replace something.
What can I save?
Add a part with its name, brand, part number, specifications, notes, quantity, photo, purchase link, and the device it belongs to. You can also add replacement dates and intervals for parts you replace regularly.
How do I find a saved part?
Use the search field to search across part names, brands, part numbers, device names, model numbers, categories, specifications, and notes. Favorites and replacement reminders are also surfaced on the home screen.
Can I use the widget?
Yes. The PartMemo widget can show favorite parts and parts that are due for replacement. Add it from the iOS Home Screen widget gallery after you have saved parts in the app.

Reminders
Replacement reminders are optional and are scheduled locally on your iPhone.
Why did I not receive a reminder?
Check that the part has both a replacement date or interval and a future due date. Then confirm that reminders are enabled in PartMemo and that PartMemo is allowed to send notifications in iOS Settings.
How do I turn reminders off?
You can disable reminders in PartMemo or manage PartMemo’s notification permission in iOS Settings. Turning off permission prevents iOS from delivering local notifications.
Your information
Your data
PartMemo is designed to keep your saved household information on your device.
Where are my saved parts and photos stored?
Your saved records and photos are stored locally in the PartMemo app on your device. PartMemo does not currently operate an account system or backend that stores this content.
How do I delete my information?
You can edit or delete records inside PartMemo. Deleting the app removes its local data from the device, subject to any device backup retained by you or your backup provider.
Does PartMemo sync between devices?
PartMemo does not currently provide server-side sync or a PartMemo account. If you share information through an iOS feature or another app, that service’s privacy practices apply to the shared copy.
Read the full details: See the Privacy Policy for information about local storage, notifications, Apple services, third-party links, and your choices.
